Privacy Policy
Apex Speaking (ABN 84 297 697 882) collects a small amount of personal information so we can respond to coaching enquiries and run sessions. This page sets out exactly what we collect, where it goes, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our enquiry form or send us directly. That is:
- The student's name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- The student's year level and school, if you choose to provide them
- The course and session format you are interested in
- Anything you write in the experience and goals field
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. The site sets no cookies at all.
Where it goes
When you submit the enquiry form, the information is sent to a Google Sheet owned by Apex Speaking and a copy is emailed to us. Both are held in Google Workspace under our account. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The website itself is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request logs including IP addresses. We do not have access to those logs in a form that identifies you.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and run coaching sessions, and keep in touch about your child's coaching. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside Apex Speaking for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of coaching, and for our own records afterwards. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Children's information
Our students are typically between Years 5 and 10. Enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian, and we deal with the parent or guardian on matters concerning a student's personal information.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email apexspeakingadmin@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within a few days.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
